In the 14th minute of the match FC Pirañas got a corner. AFC Roncha de tu Hermana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelino Bemabe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Pirañas's corner Marcelino Bemabe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolas Tono quite easily take care of the ball. Manuel Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cosme Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pirañas's protests and gave Cosme Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Santiago hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. FC Pirañas's Wilfredo Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Peio in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to FC Pirañas getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Nunez Oihenarte hit a great ball. AFC Roncha de tu Hermana's Amador Cordarin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Pirañas.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Peio to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Gasteiz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes FC Pirañas got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Gasteiz. Adrian Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pirañas's zone, Adrian Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Tino came out of the goal and Adrian Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adrian Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Basajaun in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, FC Pirañas's Manuel Ferrer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dalmacio Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, FC Pirañas's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Peio came free, but Wilfredo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Tino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. AFC Roncha de tu Hermana were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
