Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arturo Iturri put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian. After some careless play in the Caipirinha defense, Arturo Iturri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian. The Caipirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Cebrian should have stopped the shot. Arturo Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rodolfo Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Isadore made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cecilio Gregory immediately put the ball in play. In the 33rd minute, Arturo Iturri made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian. Caipirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 36 minutes into the game, Matungos F.C.'s Romano Aguacero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Cebrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 39th minute, one of Caipirinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caipirinha. Delmar Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Cebrian having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Matungos F.C.'s Delmar Walme got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Iturri made a kick off. Arturo Iturri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Cebrian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Caipirinha getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Romeo Jerico hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caipirinha's zone, Delmar Walme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Cebrian came out of the goal and Delmar Walme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Cebrian was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Arturo Iturri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Iturri really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Arturo Iturri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Rodolfo Cebrian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arturo Iturris short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Rodolfo Cebrian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodolfo Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Aguacero in the 63rd minute of the match. Romeo Jerico made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cecilio Gregory immediately put the ball in play. Caipirinha's Rodolfo Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Ticho in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Iturri in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Cebrian saved Caipirinha from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Caipirinha got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Jerico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Walme in the 80th minute of play forced Caipirinha's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matungos F.C. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Caipirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arturo Iturri took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luciano Mino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-8. 83 minutes into the match. Arturo Iturri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Cebrian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romano Aguacero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Matungos F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caipirinha throughout the match.
