Amador Gergori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Iturri in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Matungos F.C. booed when Las Heras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romano Aguacero scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Gergori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arturo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Las Heras's Gaspar Onbera got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Arturo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Iturri in the 25th minute of play forced Las Heras's goalkeeper Amador Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Esteban Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matungos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Arturo Iturri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amador Gergori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delmar Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Amador Gergori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Amado Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Heras's protests and gave Amado Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Amado Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Matungos F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arturo Iturri made the kick off in the second half. Arturo Iturri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amador Gergori having to make a save. Arturo Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Amador Gergori made a huge save. Cayetano Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Arturo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matungos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amador Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Iturri in the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Arturo Iturri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Gergori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Iturri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amador Gergori. That made the score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Arturo Iturri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amador Gergori. Arturo Iturri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Iturri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amador Gergori. That made the score 0-8 in the 76 minute of play. Amador Gergori was a little too slow when Arturo Iturri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-9. When Delmar Walme came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Matungos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Walme couldn't finish the play. Amador Gergori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Iturri in the 85th minute. Arturo Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Gergori having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Arturo Iturri put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Amador Gergori. Matungos F.C. played a much better game than Las Heras and deserved their victory. The Las Heras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
