Central Academia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Rodrigo Vitin scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Baristo, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Central Academia's zone, Rodrigo Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Baristo came out of the goal and Rodrigo Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Florencio Juvenal came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo Branca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Juvenal couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Baristo having to interfere. If Rodrigo Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nicolas Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Vitin in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Central Academia's goalkeeper Nicolas Baristo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Nataniel. Rodrigo Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Qwinton was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Central Academia booed when Deportivo Branca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicolas Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Haitz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Deportivo Branca FC's Rodrigo Vitin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Baristo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Vitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Baristo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The Central Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Baristo should have stopped the shot. Nestor Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Deportivo Branca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Cibran to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Vitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Baristo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After having played for 95 minutes, Rene Hernando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Branca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Hernando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
