After a rather tough play, Middelsbrought F.C's Genaro Pirro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arnulfo Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Ishmael having to interfere. Silvano Obano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Genaro Pirro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Elia having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Nahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Dei in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Elia saved chapita fubol clab from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Middelsbrought F.C's zone, Arnulfo Cordero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Ishmael came out of the goal and Arnulfo Cordero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Deunoro in the 57th minute of play forced chapita fubol clab's goalkeeper Jose Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Arnulfo Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Elia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Middelsbrought F.C's Silvano Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jose Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, chapita fubol clab's Amado Bartoleme got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jose Elia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Deunoro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Artemio Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Elia having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Middelsbrought F.C fully deserved thier win.
