Amigos del Leño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cervarios the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Irrintzi was the one to do the kick off. Amigos del Leño's Alejandro Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Irrintzi in the 84th minute of play. Hilario Cresconio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Matias Irrintzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Maiorga having to make a save. When Matias Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cervarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the game, Cervarios's Matias Irrintzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Maiorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
