Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cirilo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Frans having to interfere. Evelio Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Arano in the 9th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Ciro Lia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evelio Frans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Melquiades Arano came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Fortune Chaser fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Arano couldn't finish the play. When Aaron Bitxintxo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortune Chaser's protests and gave Aaron Bitxintxo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for V. Ruben Marko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saturnino Venceslas. 0-1. In the 35th minute, Cirilo Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evelio Frans acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benito Marin. Ciro Lia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Evelio Frans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Felix Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the V and the Fortune Chaser players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Fortune Chaser getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Benito Marin hit a great ball. Melquiades Arano hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Venceslas having to interfere. V's Evelio Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Cordarell in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Sebastian Roano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortune Chaser's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave V the free kick. In the 71st minute, Sebastian Roano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ciro Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, V's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Lia came free, but Evelio Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Urtsin during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fortune Chaser booed when V was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Quintana struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Saturnino Venceslas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for V. After having played for 84 minutes, Cirilo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortune Chaser's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Cordarell in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Frans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evelio Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Loramendi in the 93rd minute of play. If Cirilo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Fortune Chaser were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after V's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Esdras took the corner. Sebastian Roano made a great header on Fortune Chaser's corner, it was just that V's Evelio Frans managed to reach the ball for a save. The V supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing V would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
