Saturnino Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nahia in the 24th minute of play. Marcial Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Venceslas having to interfere. Edgard Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Cordarell in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Cirilo Cordarell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgard Poncio, 2-0.
