A collision led to Lanus FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Feliberto Suero hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the game, Elias Eliazar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 9 minutes into the game, Cesar Bidun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodio the free kick. Cesar Bidun hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rodio's Constantino Kaiet tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lanus FC's Angel Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Panfilo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonas Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Angel Vito came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Lanus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Vito couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Rodio's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Suero came free, but Siro Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Rodio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th play minute Angel Vito came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Siro Cayo. 1-1. Siro Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Pio to strike the kick off in the second half. Siro Cayo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus FC's Cesar Bidun. But to his dismay, Cesar Bidun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jonas Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Senon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Pio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ignacio Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Aristides Buinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodio and the Lanus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lanus FC's Angel Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodio's Siro Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Vito in the 72nd minute of play. Feliberto Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Siro Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Suero charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Suero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lanus FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Feliberto Suero hit a great ball. When Higinio Panfilo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Suero in the 88th minute of play forced Rodio's goalkeeper Siro Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Feliberto Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanus FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
