Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Feliberto Suero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Lanus FC's zone, Adolfo Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Senon came out of the goal and Adolfo Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Vito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Sabino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Angel Vito might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Sabino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Vito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Felipe Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Benedicto Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patagones Rex FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanus FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Patagones Rex FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Aresti to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Angel Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Patagones Rex FC's Benedicto Aresti got a free kick in the 17th minute. Melquiades Tibalt made a great header on Lanus FC's corner, it was just that Patagones Rex FC's Joel Sabino managed to reach the ball for a save. Feliberto Suero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Suero in the 24th minute of play. Joel Sabino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Vito's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A collision led to Lanus FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arturo Faron hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Angel Vito made a precise shot to the right of Joel Sabino. Patagones Rex FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joel Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliberto Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Froylan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angel Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Feliberto Suero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Sabino. Feliberto Suero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Joel Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Joel Sabino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angel Vito went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Feliberto Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Vito came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joel Sabino could save by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Lanus FC's Feliberto Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Sabino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Lanus FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Arnas. If Feliberto Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Feliberto Suero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joel Sabino, passed just outside the right post.
