An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Nahia in the 6th minute of play forced Patagones Rex FC's goalkeeper Joel Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PELLEGRINI's Edgard Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Froylan in the 9th minute of play. Marcial Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Sabino having to interfere. Joel Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Armando Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Poncio having to interfere. Patricio Nahia might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Sabino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Nahia ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nahia in the 33rd minute of play. Joel Sabino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Galtero went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Benedicto Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adolfo Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, PELLEGRINI's Tomás Otsoko got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Patagones Rex FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PELLEGRINI were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Froylan was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Froylan in the 51st minute of play. Felipe Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adolfo Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Froylan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edgard Poncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patagones Rex FC. 61 minutes into the game, one of Patagones Rex FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Sabino went to the wrong direction when Efrain Orlondo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Matias Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Patricio Nahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricio Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Nahia in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Patagones Rex FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Nahia came free, but Joel Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patricio Nahia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Sabino was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, PELLEGRINI's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Froylan came free, but Edgard Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Adolfo Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patagones Rex FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Patagones Rex FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PELLEGRINI's performance. The match ended with a win for PELLEGRINI.
