The supporters of Brown de Adrogue booed when Galatarasay F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Odon in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Galatarasay F.C's Claudio Erroman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Handi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Astor Handi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaime Hermelando's late challenge caught a Brown de Adrogue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Hermelando helped the player get up and apologised. Galatarasay F.C's Leonel Elazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Galatarasay F.C from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Genaro Omero sped through Brown de Adrogue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Handi. After some careless play in the Brown de Adrogue defense, Genaro Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Handi. The Brown de Adrogue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Handi should have stopped the shot. Genaro Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Astor Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Guillermo Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Leonel Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Galatarasay F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Galatarasay F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Erroman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Elazar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Odon in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Galatarasay F.C's Pascual Chago got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Nunez Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Nunez Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Astor Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Genaro Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 97 minutes of play, Galatarasay F.C's Claudio Erroman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Handi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
