Spectators: 6869 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 100) Roberto Galsino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Durazno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Gorbea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Abechuco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristobal Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ermegildo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durazno's Andres Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Galsino in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Durazno's Alejo Jeraldo got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Cristobal Gorbea came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Durazno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Gorbea couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cristobal Gorbea sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Modesto Gurutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Modesto Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Modesto Gurutz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durazno's protests and gave Modesto Gurutz a yellow card for diving instead. Cristobal Gorbeas short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Ermegildo Abechuco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ermegildo Abechuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Gorbea in the 39th minute. When Godofredo Paul came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Durazno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Paul couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Abechuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Gorbea went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Cristobal Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Gorbea to make the kick off. After 62 minutes of play, Durazno's Cristobal Gorbea made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Abechuco was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Inocencio Salvatore hit a great ball. If Cristobal Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Tulio's late challenge caught a Durazno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Tulio helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 82 minutes, Cristian Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Abechuco having to interfere. Cristian Abalos took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Abechuco. Ermegildo Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cristobal Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Americo Bernad hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Durazno fully deserved thier win.
