The supporters of Anguincila booed when Durazno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Panfilo having to make a save. Blas Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Gorbea in the 33rd minute of play. Cristobal Gorbea might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Panfilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Gorbea ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristobal Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Blas Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Gorbea made a kick off. Anguincila's Blas Panfilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Anguincila from getting a goal against them.
