Domingos Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, San Martin PM's Filomeno Elodio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Aureliano Barrionuevo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Baldomero Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Xabat in the 36th minute of play forced Cangrejillos's goalkeeper Hilario Kusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Beltza during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingos Franco struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hilario Kusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin PM. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Endira during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Cangrejillos got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Endira. Fabricio Beltza hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Domingos Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martin PM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
