Spectators: 6473 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, C.A Palmares's Arnulfo Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Elazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arnulfo Bento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Cibran kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Arnulfo Bento scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Elazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnulfo Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Elazar having to interfere. If Arnulfo Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Petr Dolák made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Arnulfo Bento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Palmares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 39th minute, Nestor Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Omero to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Galatarasay F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Mede to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Elazar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saturnino Elivareo. If Arnulfo Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Saturnino Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the C.A Palmares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Elivareo couldn't finish the play. Damaso Maxenchss short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Leonel Elazar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute, C.A Palmares's Arnulfo Bento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonel Elazar. Leonel Elazar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Bento in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Nestor Pero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Leonel Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Genaro Omero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatarasay F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Arnulfo Bento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galatarasay F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnulfo Bento 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. Galatarasay F.C's Leonel Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Pero in the 94th minute of play. C.A Palmares's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
