Ivan Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Erroman in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Santo Naike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 12 De Octubre F.C and the Galatarasay F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galatarasay F.C booed when 12 De Octubre F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, 12 De Octubre F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Mede came free, but Ivan Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Genaro Omero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivan Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudio Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Leonel Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Naike in the 30th minute. 12 De Octubre F.C's Herminio Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Genaro Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Omero in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Cordara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Genaro Omero made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Omero in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Cordara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 minutes of play, Galatarasay F.C's Jaime Hermelando made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Erroman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Cordara having to make a save. Genaro Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ivan Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Naike in the 80th minute of play forced Galatarasay F.C's goalkeeper Leonel Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Erroman got free with Ivan Cordara in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Genaro Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Galatarasay F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ulises Mede hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Herminio Oinaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Elazar was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
