Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Rik took the kick off in the first half of the match. Faustino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Rik in the 6th minute of play. Eugenio Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Adolfo Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Abaunza having to interfere. A collision led to Chaparro getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adolfo Martxel hit a great ball. If Matias Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Rik's late challenge caught a Coitaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Rik helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chaparro's Adolfo Rik got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Matias Pacifico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Faustino Abaunza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot by Adrian Conrao from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Faustino Abaunza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Celedonio Grabiel's shot from long distance in the 27th minute was not bad at all, but Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Chaparro booed when Coitaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Rik in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Abaunza saved Coitaco from getting behind. When Igor Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Coitaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Cordarin couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Shepherd came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Coitaco's Jorge Erramun. But to his dismay, Jorge Erramun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Coitaco's zone, Matias Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Abaunza came out of the goal and Matias Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Matias Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chaparro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Erramun was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Conrado Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Erramun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ciriaco Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaparro's Matias Pacifico got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Ilixo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Rik in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Abaunza saved Coitaco from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Pacifico in the 78th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Pacifico in the 79th minute of play forced Coitaco's goalkeeper Faustino Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Ilixo got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Coitaco getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Conrado Ilixo hit a great ball. Adolfo Rik took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Abaunza. Faustino Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Faustino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Pacifico in the 95th minute of play. Coitaco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
