But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Ayala couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Olo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Abaunza saved Coitaco from getting behind. Sñupi's Bonifacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cordarin in the 10th minute of play. Juan Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Coitaco's Igor Cordarin in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sñupi's goalie prevented a goal. Sñupi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bonifacio Pello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Erramun went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bonifacio Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Erramun in the 29th minute of play. Bonifacio Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cordarin in the 31st minute of play. Faustino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Olo in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sñupi's zone, Igor Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Pello came out of the goal and Igor Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Erramun in the 42nd minute of play forced Sñupi's goalkeeper Bonifacio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Abaunza having to interfere. The Sñupi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coitaco were winning 0-1.

Sñupi's Bonifacio Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sñupi from getting a goal against them. If Jorge Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Librado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Pello. Sñupi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Faustino Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Olo in the 67th minute of the match. Geronimo Ayala scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Abaunza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Faustino Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Olo in the 78th minute of play. Igor Cordarin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Bonifacio Pello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geronimo Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Faustino Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Erramun hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
