The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Leonardo Cordera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Boca FC and the Coitaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Santa Boca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Cordera to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Santa Boca FC's Geronimo Ovando got control of the ball when Conrado Ilixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Librado in the 9th minute of play. Geronimo Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Librado in the 11th minute of the match. Conrado Ilixo charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Ilixo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Coitaco's Conrado Ilixo got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Santa Boca FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ovando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cordarin. Geronimo Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Santa Boca FC's Geronimo Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Librado in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Coitaco's Conrado Ilixo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Ovando. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. A collision led to Santa Boca FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Romeo Blai hit a great ball. Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Giraldo in the 30th minute of play. Coitaco's Conrado Ilixo got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Conrado Ilixo off the ground. The supporters of Santa Boca FC booed when Coitaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Igor Cordarin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Geronimo Ovando to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute Leonardo Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Leonardo Cordera made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Coitaco booed when Santa Boca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Coitaco from getting a goal against them. If Igor Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Santa Boca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cordarin came free, but Geronimo Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Evangelista hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Leonardo Corderas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Faustino Abaunza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leonardo Cordera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Faustino Abaunza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Leonardo Cordera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza. Faustino Abaunza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Dionisio Pirmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Boca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coitaco the free kick. A collision led to Santa Boca FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dionisio Pirmin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coitaco's zone, Leonardo Cordera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Abaunza came out of the goal and Leonardo Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coitaco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
