After 3 played minutes Rumipal got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Vachon. Nicanor Naike's late challenge caught a Upinango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Naike helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Tobias Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcos Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Weather having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Jaunti in the 22nd minute of play forced Upinango's goalkeeper Marcos Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Upinango's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Jaunti came free, but Marcos Weather reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rumipal's Hermengildo Jaunti got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Polentzi came free, but Benito Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Tobias Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rumipal's Benito Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Paul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Upinango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumipal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Upinango's Clodoveo Paul got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Hermengildo Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Upinango's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hermengildo Jaunti 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Jaunti in the 63rd minute of play forced Upinango's goalkeeper Marcos Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rumipal's Bernardino Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Weather having to interfere. Tobias Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Benito Gustau managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Upinango's Tobias Egoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Maximo Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute of the match, Lorenzo Polentzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Gustau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximo Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Jaunti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Weather was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. There was no doubt that Rumipal were the better team. Rumipal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
