Spectators: 7163 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 40) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilio Incantalupi made the kick off which started today's match. 14 minutes into the match, Background FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Polentzi came free, but Horacio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Polentzi in the 17th minute of play forced Background FC's goalkeeper Horacio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Upinango's Lorenzo Polentzi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horacio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Egoi in the 23rd minute of play. Marcos Weather was a little too slow when Ruben Otoniel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 36th minute Lorenzo Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Honorio Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Cutberto having to interfere. When Emilio Incantalupi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Background FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Incantalupi couldn't finish the play. Apolo Abechuco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horacio Cutberto. Background FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Polentzi to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Upinango's Horacio Cutberto threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lorenzo Polentzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the match, Background FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Polentzi came free, but Horacio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Background FC were furious when Sebastian Bittor was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Background FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Upinango:s goal. Background FC's Horacio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Polentzi in the 66th minute of play. Emilio Incantalupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcos Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Incantalupi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Horacio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Egoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Horacio Cutberto made a huge save. Honorio Barto scored 3-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Weather, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorio Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Weather having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Ermanno Piacentini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Background FC and the Upinango players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Background FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Piacentini. Background FC's Horacio Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Background FC from getting a goal against them. Emilio Incantalupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcos Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
