Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernesto Mitxel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Héroes de la Pala's Generoso Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo James in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna AFC's zone, Bernardo Eron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Jakue came out of the goal and Bernardo Eron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Bernardo Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Héroes de la Pala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Bernardo Eron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Geronimo Jakue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Iraido's late challenge caught a Héroes de la Pala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Iraido helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Héroes de la Pala booed when Fortuna AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Fortuna AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Eron. Bernardo Eron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ernesto Mitxel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geronimo Jakue. The goal made the score 2-0. Geronimo Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Frasquito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Geronimo Jakue made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Everardo Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Esdras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

56 minutes into the match, Héroes de la Pala's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo James came free, but Generoso Fonda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Mitxel in the 58th minute of play forced Fortuna AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortuna AFC's Cristo Admon got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Generoso Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Eron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Héroes de la Pala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Geronimo Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Eron in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Fortuna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Iraido. If Bernardo Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Bernardo Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Mitxel in the 83rd minute of play forced Fortuna AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Jakue having to interfere.
