Arnaldo Virila shot from long distance in the 5th minute, but Reynaldo Lucian was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Armando Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Reynaldo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Bernad in the 14th minute of the match. When Dennehy AFC's Armando Larra in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayacol United's goalie prevented a goal. If Blas Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Armando Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Dennehy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Gustau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Honesto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Guayacol United booed when Dennehy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Guayacol United's Reynaldo Lucian got control of the ball when Melquiades Henric tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Guayacol United's goalkeeper Reynaldo Lucian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Henric. In the 41st minute, Armando Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Lucian made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Melquiades Henric sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Guayacol United got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ponc. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Armando Larra made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Larra in the 52nd minute of play. Hector Honesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Armando Larra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayacol United's Reynaldo Lucian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Lucian having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Larra in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Lucian saved Guayacol United from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Guayacol United's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Larra came free, but Reynaldo Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
