The referee ignored Albinegro Fútbol Club's protests and gave Conrado Kusko a yellow card for diving instead. If Serafino Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Gilen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of Albinegro Fútbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Albinegro Fútbol Club's Conrado Kusko got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Age of Futbol booed when Albinegro Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Cisco in the 28th minute of play forced Albinegro Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Adan Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Albinegro Fútbol Club's zone, Orlando Delfino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Beltran came out of the goal and Orlando Delfino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Albinegro Fútbol Club's Cleto Azevedo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Humberto Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Beltran having to interfere. Adan Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Delfino in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Delfino to make the kick off. When Luciano Ponciano fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Conrado Kusko ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Albinegro Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Etxeberri. Orlando Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Beltran having to interfere. When Orlando Delfino came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Age of Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Delfino couldn't finish the play. After having played for 85 minutes, Conrado Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albinegro Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Kusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Humberto Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
