The referee ignored Rafael Calzada's protests and gave Mateo Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cristo Rosario took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Garin. Adolfo Garin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Deportivo Kagadores booed when Rafael Calzada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruben Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Pietro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Uriel Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Gamus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Fortun went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Erasmo Mercurio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adolfo Garin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Abascal in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Garin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Rafael Calzada got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Ekialde. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Pietro in the 37th minute of play forced Deportivo Kagadores's goalkeeper Ciro Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If German Frisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Deportivo Kagadores's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruben Fortun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Kagadores's zone, German Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Gamus came out of the goal and German Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Pietro got free with Ciro Gamus in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Sixto Abascal made the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Goiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Gamus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Goiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ruben Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Kagadores's Adolfo Garin threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristo Rosario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Pietro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Gamus saved Deportivo Kagadores from getting behind. Baldomiro Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ciro Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Pietro scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Gamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Uriel Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafael Calzada's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Kagadores's Ciro Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Pietro in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Kagadores defense, Ruben Fortun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Gamus. The Deportivo Kagadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Gamus should have stopped the shot. Baldomiro Goiz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ciro Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rafael Calzada. Uriel Pietro might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Gamus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Pietro ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 82 minutes, Ruben Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafael Calzada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Fortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, German Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafael Calzada's supporters rose to their feet, but German Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Rafael Calzada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Kagadores:s goal. Rafael Calzada:s Adolfo Garin showed great skill when he stopped Silvestre Virila:s penalty. A collision led to Rafael Calzada getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bernardino Ekialde hit a great ball. Rafael Calzada's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
