In the 6th minute, Blas Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Age of Futbol's goalkeeper Honorio Hibai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Bernad. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hector Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayacol United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Honesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Hibai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Age of Futbol's Orlando Delfino in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guayacol United's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the game, Orlando Delfino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Reynaldo Lucian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Age of Futbol's zone, Hector Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Hibai came out of the goal and Hector Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Ponc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honorio Hibai. Age of Futbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Geronimo Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Ponc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Honorio Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Honesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basilio Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Age of Futbol's Lázaro Brais couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guayacol United. Orlando Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Reynaldo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Honesto in the 60th minute of play forced Age of Futbol's goalkeeper Honorio Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Bernat hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Age of Futbol's Orlando Delfino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Lucian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Orlando Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Guayacol United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Brais was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Age of Futbol booed when Guayacol United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Delfino in the 89th minute of play. Humberto Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Clodio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Guayacol United booed when Age of Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Age of Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Age of Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
