Spectators: 7131 (Terracing: 5531, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sydney Lara kicked off to start the match. Saturnino Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Delmiro Panpili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Landetta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chateaubriand the free kick. After 6 played minutes Landetta FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Panpili. Sydney Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Edelmiro Feliu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 9 minutes into the game, Sydney Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edelmiro Feliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Chateaubriand getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elpidio Romildo hit a great ball. Chateaubriand's Cristian Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Leheren in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Landetta FC defense, Sydney Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Feliu. The Landetta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Feliu should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes Landetta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uriel Claus who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Uriel Claus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Feliu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Sydney Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chateaubriand's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Feliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Edelmiro Feliu managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Chateaubriand's Uriel Claus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edelmiro Feliu was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Sydney Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sydney Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Delmiro Panpili was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Saturnino Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Edelmiro Feliu managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Chateaubriand's Sydney Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sydney Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Edelmiro Feliu made a huge save. When Uriel Claus came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Chateaubriand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Claus couldn't finish the play. Sydney Lara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edelmiro Feliu firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Leheren to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sydney Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Feliu was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Sydney Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Feliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Landetta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Claus came free, but Edelmiro Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Patrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Chateaubriand. Uriel Claus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edelmiro Feliu. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Landetta FC's zone, Saturnino Demario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Feliu came out of the goal and Saturnino Demario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Sydney Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Saturnino Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chateaubriand's zone, Delmar Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Nafarroa came out of the goal and Delmar Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Feliu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Lara in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Feliu saved Landetta FC from getting behind. Sydney Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Claus took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Feliu. Edelmiro Feliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sydney Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Edelmiro Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Uriel Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victorio Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Landetta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Lara came free, but Edelmiro Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Landetta FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Telo. Severiano Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chateaubriand walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
