After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sydney Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chateaubriand's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Procopio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chateaubriand's Cristian Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Weterio in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maruchas FC's Hugo Urtun got a free kick in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sydney Lara sped through Maruchas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Procopio. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maruchas FC's goalkeeper Denis Procopio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denis Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Claus in the 30th minute of play forced Maruchas FC's goalkeeper Denis Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chateaubriand's Sydney Lara in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They were losing 0-1.

After 61 played minutes Chateaubriand got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Romero. 62 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Weterio came free, but Cristian Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Maruchas FC's corner Bernardino Jatsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Nafarroa quite easily take care of the ball. Maruchas FC's Denis Procopio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Maruchas FC from getting a goal against them. Uriel Claus might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Procopio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Claus ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Sydney Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Procopio. The goal made the score 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnino Demario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Procopio. That made the score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. The Maruchas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chateaubriand were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
