When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cornelio Guillelmus sped through Ratuno FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Egun. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Godfredo Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Santa Paula's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Egun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Cornelio Guillelmus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Egun. The goal made the score 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, C.A Santa Paula's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Bero came free, but Moises Bartuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rogelio Miliano fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Santa Paula's protests and gave Rogelio Miliano a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Santa Paula's zone, Adan Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Bartuelo came out of the goal and Adan Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Gaitano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Bittor in the 41st minute of play forced C.A Santa Paula's goalkeeper Moises Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Bittor scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moises Bartuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Guillelmus made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ratuno FC's Gogo Chesus got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Godfredo Laffitte made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Egun. Ratuno FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
