Hernan Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Jurgi having to interfere. Rosendo Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Palos in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Huracan's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Bela came free, but Norberto Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Sandaili charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Sandaili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Isidro Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Jurgi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Hartz went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Palos in the 31st minute of play forced Tucuman FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rosendo Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Darien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Brais in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Palos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Jurgi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Evaristo Palos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Hartz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Jurgi having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Ortle during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Lucas Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Club Atletico Huracan's Isidro Sandaili got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Isidro Sandaili off the ground. Hernan Hartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Jurgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Hartz in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Hernan Hartz notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi. Rosendo Jurgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes, Natalio Seber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tucuman FC and the Club Atletico Huracan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Tucuman FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Seber. After 78 played minutes, Club Atletico Huracan's Adan Chago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Jurgi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Huracan reached it. If Benicio Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Huracan's Benicio Lucila got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Hartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rosendo Jurgi made a huge save. Evaristo Palos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rosendo Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Huracan. Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Tucuman FC from getting a goal against them.
