Club Atletico Huracan's Norberto Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Buinton in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Club Atletico Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Ortle. In the 12th minute Gogo Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Villa Mercedes Unido's Gogo Gaitano in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Huracan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Mercedes Unido's goalkeeper Uriel Matei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Villa Mercedes Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Palos came free, but Uriel Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mercedes Unido's zone, Hernan Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Matei came out of the goal and Hernan Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Villa Mercedes Unido fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Villa Mercedes Unido's Elvio Buinton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 39 minutes into the match, Evaristo Palos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uriel Matei, 1-1. Hernan Hartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Uriel Matei made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Norberto Darien made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gogo Gaitano sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd match minute, Club Atletico Huracan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Huracan's Lucas Ortle got a free kick in the 54th minute. Hernan Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Hernan Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Huracan booed when Villa Mercedes Unido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Matei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Palos's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Basilio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Elvio Buinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Darien was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Elvio Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Darien having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Club Atletico Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Sandaili. The supporters of Villa Mercedes Unido booed when Club Atletico Huracan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Huracan's zone, Gogo Gaitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Darien came out of the goal and Gogo Gaitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Matei having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atletico Huracan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villa Mercedes Unido had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
