With a left leg Fernando Euloxu saved Reyes del Esférico from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Tucuman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Joey came free, but Rosendo Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Euloxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Brais in the 13th minute of play. Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Joey in the 17th minute of play. If Aureliano Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Godofredo Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reyes del Esférico's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Jurgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rene Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Euloxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Rene Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
