In the 18th minute, Aureliano Dantel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reyes del Esférico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Aureliano Dantel lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Severiano Pinto. Reyes del Esférico were furious when Zeledon Ceandro was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Reyes del Esférico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sarasa:s goal. Fernando Euloxu went to the wrong direction when Apolo Eleazar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gervasio Gaztea hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Segundo Burutzagi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Euloxu having to make a save. Fernando Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarasa's Enzo Tanio suffered a sore thigh after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 45 minutes into the game, Eulalio Naldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reyes del Esférico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarasa the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Matxin to make the kick off. Reyes del Esférico's Fernando Euloxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Burutzagi in the 52nd minute of play. Aureliano Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Matxin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Fernando Euloxu made a huge save. Isidro Perpinya might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Euloxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Perpinya ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arnaldo Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Perpinya struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fernando Euloxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarasa. Isidro Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Euloxu having to interfere. Severiano Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Dantel in the 73rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Goyo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severiano Pinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Aureliano Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fernando Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Segundo Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Dantel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Pinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Reyes del Esférico booed when Sarasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reyes del Esférico fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarasa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
