The corner ended in Natalio Seber almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARRAYANES's Serafin Herena did a great save. Rene Brais might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Brais ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Serafin Herena made a huge save. With his leg Serafin Herena managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Tucuman FC's Santos Gitano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Serafin Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Brais in the 41st minute of the match. Santos Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Serafin Herena made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Frascuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rene Brais came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tucuman FC fans jumped to their feet.
