When Arnaldo Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sarasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Matxin couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Palos in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severiano Pinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sarasa's zone, Cristobal Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Pinto came out of the goal and Cristobal Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Pinto having to interfere. Sarasa's Severiano Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Hats in the 27th minute of play. If Cristobal Hats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Hats in the 35th minute of the match. Elias Cuartio scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Pinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Elias Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
