Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uriel Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Mateo Ricart had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Villa Mercedes Unido's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Gaitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Reyes del Esférico's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Buinton came free, but Fernando Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Elvio Buinton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Mercedes Unido fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Elvio Buinton made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Euloxu. Reyes del Esférico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Buinton in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Euloxu saved Reyes del Esférico from getting behind. Elvio Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Euloxu having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Gervasio Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Villa Mercedes Unido getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Evaristo Victoro hit a great ball. Uriel Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Dantel in the 57th minute of the match. Reyes del Esférico's Aureliano Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Gogo Gaitano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 63 minutes into the match, Reyes del Esférico's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Buinton came free, but Fernando Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play Villa Mercedes Unido's Basilio Domeka was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th minute, Basilio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Reyes del Esférico! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Villa Mercedes Unido. Evaristo Victoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Euloxu. 1-3. In the 81st minute, Elvio Buinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reyes del Esférico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Gogo Gaitano scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Euloxu, making the score, 1-4. Gogo Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fernando Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Reyes del Esférico's zone, Elvio Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Euloxu came out of the goal and Elvio Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Eufemio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fernando Euloxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Mercedes Unido. Reyes del Esférico's Fernando Euloxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Reyes del Esférico from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Euloxu having to interfere. Uriel Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Gaztea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villa Mercedes Unido's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
