Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Bela started the match with the kick off. Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Joey in the 5th minute of play. Rosendo Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Joey in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Leonel Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Reyes del Esférico got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Gaztea. When Reyes del Esférico's Godofredo Joey in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tucuman FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Leonel Bela came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tucuman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Bela couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tucuman FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Jurgi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Tucuman FC booed when Reyes del Esférico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Edwardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rene Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Euloxu having to interfere. Reyes del Esférico's Aureliano Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Joey scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Jurgi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Meder charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Meder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Joey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Jurgi made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Eulalio Naldo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Bela in the 54th minute of play forced Reyes del Esférico's goalkeeper Fernando Euloxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tucuman FC's Leonel Bela got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Brais's late challenge caught a Reyes del Esférico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Brais helped the player get up and apologised. Rene Brais hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Godofredo Joey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Jurgi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Rosendo Jurgi made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Aureliano Dantel sent off a good shot on target. If Rene Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Ricart during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Reyes del Esférico got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Ricart. Rene Brais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fernando Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Godofredo Joey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucuman FC's Rosendo Jurgi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonel Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Leonel Bela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fernando Euloxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Reyes del Esférico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tucuman FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
