Paulino Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. La Cañada F.C.'s Paulino Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ferdinand in the 4th minute of play. Isidro Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Cayetano Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Cayetano Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulino Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. La Cañada F.C.'s Paulino Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ferdinand in the 24th minute of play. Paulino Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Alvarez in the 26th minute of play. Cayetano Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Joey having to interfere. Paulino Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Alvarez in the 37th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, La Cañada F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ferdinand came free, but Paulino Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Cañada F.C.'s Paulino Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Alvarez in the 46th minute of play. When Cayetano Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Barrealito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Alvarez couldn't finish the play. After the first half Barrealito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marco Jorrin made the kick off in the second half. When Delmiro Venceslao fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cañada F.C.'s protests and gave Delmiro Venceslao a yellow card for diving instead. If Clemente Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to La Cañada F.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gualterio Etxatxu hit a great ball. La Cañada F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Cayetano Alvarez scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Joey, making the score, 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Barrealito's Cayetano Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Cañada F.C.'s Delmiro Venceslao got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cayetano Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Paulino Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Barrealito got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Sein. Marco Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ondino having to interfere. Delmiro Venceslao got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Cañada F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Delmiro Venceslao hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, La Cañada F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Ferdinand. After a defensive mix-up in La Cañada F.C.'s zone, Clemente Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Joey came out of the goal and Clemente Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, one of La Cañada F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Paulino Joey, was totally fooled by Barrealito's Ariel Dantae, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Alvarez in the 99th minute of play forced La Cañada F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrealito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
