When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teodosio Ostargi sped through Galacticos F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Frichoso. Carlos Chico struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cristian Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnerito. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galacticos F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! If Carlos Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Carnerito's Godfredo Janpier got control of the ball when Bernardino Gorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Timoteo Blanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galacticos F.C's Cristian Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddy Ibon got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Galacticos F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carnerito:s goal.
