No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Timoteo Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnerito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Regis having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Chico got free with Baldomiro Regis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Blanco in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Regis saved Ice and Fire from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Carlos Chico put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomiro Regis. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ice and Fire's goalkeeper Baldomiro Regis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodosio Ostargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Regis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
