When Roberto Sein fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrealito's protests and gave Roberto Sein a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Sein hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Baldomiro Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes AC Colosos got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Cortez. The long shot by Ariel Dantae in the 18th minute really tested Saul Cordarrol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Dalmacio Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Saul Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Denis Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Clemente Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Barrealito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Ferdinand got free with Saul Cordarrol in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayetano Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cayetano Alvarez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Aquilino Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Barrealito's Roberto Sein got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes AC Colosos got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Cortez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Ferdinand got free with Saul Cordarrol in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Barrealito's Ruben Gaitan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saul Cordarrol. Saul Cordarrol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Ferdinand to make the kick off. Clemente Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Clemente Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Clemente Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Cordarrol having to interfere. Barrealito's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
