Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Mario Kimetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrealito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carnerito the free kick. After 3 played minutes Barrealito got a freekick which was hit by Mario Kimetz. In the 6th minute of the match, Carlos Chico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aquilino Ondino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Urbano Quinten hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Ariel Dantae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Janpier skillfully saved the ball. Carnerito's Godfredo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ferdinand in the 15th minute of play. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Godfredo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Chicos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Aquilino Ondino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barrealito's Clemente Ferdinand got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Alvarez succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Godfredo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Carlos Chico might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Ondino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Chico ran back to his position shaking his head. When Timoteo Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Carnerito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Blanco couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Blanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Ondino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Ferdinand in the 41st minute of play forced Carnerito's goalkeeper Godfredo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Godfredo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Barrealito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Alvarez to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ruben Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnerito's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Artaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Ondino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aquilino Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 62nd minute of the match Mario Kimetz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mario Kimetz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mario Kimetz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Barrealito's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Blanco came free, but Aquilino Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carnerito's Timoteo Blanco got a free kick in the 71st minute. Clemente Ferdinand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Godfredo Janpier made a huge save. When Carlos Chico came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Carnerito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Chico couldn't finish the play. After 82 minutes of play, Barrealito's Clemente Ferdinand made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Janpier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 minutes, Ruben Artaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnerito and the Barrealito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carnerito's Ruben Artaldo got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Carnerito's Godfredo Janpier got control of the ball when Clemente Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barrealito booed when Carnerito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Timoteo Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
