In the 19th minute Teo Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Martínez's Pastor Franco got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Start Calzados FC booed when Martínez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Teo Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Belo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Celestino Aurre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Segundo Belo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Blas Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Arnoldo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute Cristian Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Start Calzados FC's zone, Cristian Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Ranolfo came out of the goal and Cristian Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Marcelo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Start Calzados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Start Calzados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Paul came free, but Blas Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Cristian Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martínez and the Start Calzados FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Martínez got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Paul. Abel Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Martínez's Segundo Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Maria in the 81st minute of play. Teo Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Belo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jesus Txanton could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Blas Ranolfo however easily saved by the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Start Calzados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Abad to maneuver through the defense. Start Calzados FC's Blas Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Start Calzados FC from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Start Calzados FC had played much better football throughout.
