Lino Sidoro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Eustacio Aurre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgardo Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nafarroa in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Gudesteo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Isusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustacio Aurre was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of NIUPI F.C. booed when Tabay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgardo Emmanuel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. NIUPI F.C.'s Clodoveo Isusko got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Clodoveo Isusko off the ground. Tabay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
