Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) NIUPI F.C.'s Edgardo Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Atarrabi in the 10th minute of play. Filomeno Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Matias Ugutz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Merengue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Ugutz couldn't finish the play. Nereo Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Inautzi in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Merengue's Cleto Atarrabi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lino Sidoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Merengue's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Sidoro came free, but Nereo Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Quinto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Lino Sidoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NIUPI F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Sidoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Matias Ugutz scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Emmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Lino Sidoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. NIUPI F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Sidoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgardo Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Atarrabi in the 61st minute of play. Merengue's Cleto Atarrabi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filomeno Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nereo Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Ralondo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by NIUPI F.C.'s Lino Sidoro. But to his dismay, Lino Sidoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Julio Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Merengue could leave the field as winners, despite NIUPI F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
