Spectators: 7050 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute, 9 De Diciembre's Horacio Ramond seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horacio Ramond the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 9 De Diciembre protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horacio Ramond had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th minute, one of 9 De Diciembre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 9 De Diciembre. Niceto Teodor shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Miguel Montel's late challenge caught a 9 De Diciembre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Montel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Merayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Montel to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merayo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, 9 De Diciembre's Nereo Etxepare got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Diego Ascencio. Diego Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Inocencio Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Ascencio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Merayo's goalkeeper Diego Ascencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gogo Aguilera sped through Merayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Ascencio. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merayo's goalkeeper Diego Ascencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paolo Ramond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Ascencio came out and tried to block the shot, but Paolo Ramond slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When 9 De Diciembre's Paolo Ramond in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paolo Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Erdiano made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gilberto Estebano sent off a good shot on target. Diego Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Diego Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merayo's Diego Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Ramond in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Gogo Aguilera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Ascencio. Merayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Aguilera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When 9 De Diciembre's Paolo Ramond in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merayo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Gogo Aguilera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 9 De Diciembre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Merayo's Diego Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Ramond in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 9 De Diciembre had played much better football throughout.
