The 9 De Diciembre fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when 9 De Diciembre's Paolo Ramond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Bittor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quemero f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 9 De Diciembre the free kick. Paolo Ramond was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Paolo Ramond put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Everardo Hats. When 9 De Diciembre's Paolo Ramond in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
