When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Filomeno Inautzi sped through Sportivo Veletas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Breogan. Artemio Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Filomeno Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Inautzi to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Frichoso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of NIUPI F.C. booed when Sportivo Veletas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filomeno Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in NIUPI F.C.'s zone, Artemio Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Emmanuel came out of the goal and Artemio Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NIUPI F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
