One of Delinquentes Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Romania:s goal. The referee gave Romania a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adam Olaru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Delinquentes Futbol Club's Raúl Laredo. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernán Palacios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
